Wide range of drop-off/collection points close to all major reserves in the Hoedspruit area. By getting the clients to the main gates of all the major reserves in the area, the need for expensive local private transfers (e.g. Airport-Lodge) is largely removed – most lodges collect/return clients at the Ashtons shuttle locations for free or for a nominal charge

The product is endorsed by all the major game lodges and tour operators that operate in the Hoedspruit Area.

All Ashtons Kruger Shuttle vehicles are of international standard – clients are transferred in Toyota Quantum 10/14-seaters.

We focus on comfort and safety providing air-conditioning, bottled water, individual seat belts, cup-holders, magazine nets and satellite tracking.

Each vehicle has a relevant transport permit plus R100 million passenger liability insurance as well as PAX-Sure insurance of R500 000 per seat

Each driver is highly experienced in long distance driving, carries a valid driving licence and a professional driving permit, and drives for only 6-8 hours per day

Customer Reviews

Reliable and professional service who went the extra mile to make the journey as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, even adding some extra commentary on the areas we passed on our journey. Highly recommended! - David Curtis

Took the Ashton Shuttle from OR Tambo to my safari lodge located near Three Bridges area, outside Hoedspruit (and back again). Supremely quality service, thanks to all who helped manage me. Shuttle/ Facilities: Standard shuttle van with seats, A/C, etc. Free water which was a nice touch on the 40 degree drive in! Shuttle can feel a bit crowded with people, but through no fault of Ashton's. I was comfortable enough - watched a few shows on my device, read a bit, then gazed out the window to take in the scenery. Stops: You do make a few stops near gas stations if you need to grab food, water, or souvenirs. No issue, worked perfectly for me (bought some wine at a liquor store to take home). Timing: Everyone showed up and departed right on schedule. I was a bit nervous taking the shuttle to the airport on my way home, as I didn't want any delays to cause issues with my flight. None whatsoever. Returned to OR Tambo with plenty of time to grab a bite at Nando's before checking in and boarding! Luggage: no issue. Luggage stored in a locked trailer, with guests bringing a small bag into the shuttle. - Anonymous Shuttle Rider - Jan. 2018
